Metal Shorts will be closing early, Friday August 4th at 2:00pm and will also be CLOSED on the following Monday, August 7th, 2023, for inventory. We will re-open and continue normal business hours on Tuesday August 8th. During this time, our phone will be forwarded, and emails will be monitored for any urgent matters. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your business with us!

​Metal Shorts offers a selection of shorts in a separate section of the warehouse. Shorts are small pieces, otherwise known as drops, usually around 3ft or under. We do not keep inventory of our short section! Material comes and goes often, so feel free to stop in anytime and take a look at what is available. Please come through the front door, do not come through the warehouse. The front desk will show you where the section is, go over pricing, and will also assist with any questions.
 
Currently, we have plenty of aluminum, steel, and stainless steel available as well as random pieces of copper and plastic. The short section has a $25.00 minimum with various prices per pound for each material type. As of June 2023, the prices are as follows: Steel at $2.50 per pound, Stainless at $4.00 per pound, Aluminum at $4.00 per pound and all other odd materials (brass, copper, plastic, etc.) at $6.00 per pound. Material cutting is available at $10.00 per cut. Same-day cutting may not always be available, so please check with the front desk beforehand.
 
Our shorts section is great for artists, students, small projects, welding practice and so much more! If you can’t find what you are looking for in our shorts, feel free to ask sales to see if we have it in our general inventory.
